QA Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join the MailBluster team. You will work closely with developers, designers and product managers to make sure every release is stable, secure and easy to use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand product requirements and write clear test plans, test cases and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, smoke, exploratory and UI/UX) on web features
• Identify, document and track bugs with clear steps to reproduce
• Verify bug fixes and confirm new features meet acceptance criteria
• Test email-related workflows such as campaigns, automation, templates, lists and integrations
• Perform basic API testing (e.g., Postman) and cross-browser/device checks
• Work with developers to improve product quality and release processes
• Contribute to test automation where possible

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Technical Skills:

• Manual testing: functional, regression, smoke, exploratory and UI/UX testing of web applications
• Test documentation: writing clear test plans, test cases and test scenarios
• Bug reporting: logging bugs with clear steps to reproduce, severity and screenshots or screen recordings
• Test automation: Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
• QA process knowledge: good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle
• Tools: Jira (or similar bug trackers), Postman for basic API testing, browser developer tools
• Cross-browser and device testing: checking features on Chrome, Firefox, Safari and mobile devices
• Basic SQL: able to check data in a database
• SaaS and email marketing knowledge: campaigns, automation, lists, SMTP and deliverability

• Communication: explains bugs clearly in English and Bangla to developers and the team
• Teamwork: works well with developers, designers and product managers

• Ownership: takes responsibility for product quality, not just finding bugs

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in software quality assurance
