Jr. Software Engineer

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop clean, efficient, and scalable front-end and back-end applications.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure system consistency and an excellent user experience.
• Write reusable and maintainable code for long-term efficiency.
• Optimize web applications for performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
• Conduct UI testing and debugging to enhance application stability.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills:

•  Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, especially React.js (front-end) and Node.js (back-end).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and UI/UX best practices.
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience in testing and debugging applications.
• Strong understanding of software design principles (e.g., SOLID, DRY, KISS).
• Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Proficient in English writing, conversational speaking, and reading.

Experience:

• At least 1+ year of professional experience in a similar role.
