QA Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a minimum of one (1) year of proven experience in software testing. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality across multiple projects, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements and prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing for web and/or mobile applications across various projects
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
• Ensure consistent quality standards across multiple ongoing projects
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies as required
• Maintain consistent QA standards across multiple projects

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies
• Familiarity with test case design and execution
• Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts is an advantage
• Understanding of web and/or mobile application testing
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of API or database testing
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in software quality assurance
