Technext developed a comprehensive web solution for Ironclad Investment UK; it was designed for investment management companies based in the UK. The platform offers a range of features that enable admins and super admins to manage transactions for their clients from anywhere in the world. These features include the ability to make withdrawal and deposit requests, manage recurring withdrawals separately, and generate auto-commission for specific clients on the 15th day of each month. In addition, Ironclad Investments provides automatic profit calculations for all clients at midnight, company performance data, and newsletters to keep clients and admins informed about the company’s progress.

They came to us through a referral from another customers we have been working as their managed IT service provider. Similarly, IronClad Investment UK hired us as their managed IT services provider to tackle their need of web application, android and iOS application development, server management and IT support.

We used React Native as they wanted a cross platform app for their customer facing requirements.

The Ironclad Investment mobile app would allow their clients to view their balance, track their transactions, make withdrawal requests, and access their information quickly and securely as using a website takes more time than using a mobile app. Client would be able to get all the features in this mobile app similarly as the client dashboard that is available for the web app.

Challenges

There were several challenges that were faced while creating this mobile app. One of the main challenges was to create a highly secure platform that would protect their clients’ sensitive financial information. Another challenge was to create a user-friendly platform that would be easy to use for their clients, regardless of their technical abilities. Finally, they needed to create a solution that would work seamlessly across different devices and operating systems.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, We decided to use react native for their mobile app. React Native is a popular framework for developing mobile apps that allows for the creation of native apps for both iOS and Android platforms.

To ensure the security of the platform, We used best practices for authentication and encryption. They implemented two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security for their clients’ accounts. We also used SSL encryption to protect data transmission between the app and server. Additionally, we used secure storage mechanisms to store sensitive user data on the device.

To ensure GDPR compliance, We made sure to implement measures such as obtaining explicit user consent, providing a clear and concise privacy policy, and giving users the right to access, modify and delete their data.

To create a user-friendly platform, We focused on creating a simple and intuitive user interface. We created the UI/UX designs from scratch along with wireframes for the mobile app.  We conducted user testing and gathered feedback to improve the design and functionality of the app. They also provided clear and concise instructions for using the platform, and provided support for any technical issues.

To ensure compatibility across different devices and operating systems, Ironclad Investments tested the app on different devices and operating systems. They also ensured that the app was optimized for different screen sizes and resolutions, and provided options for users with different accessibility needs.

Finally, we were able to provide a perfect mobile app that our client wanted for his complex web solution which was also developed by us.

Results

The results of Ironclad Investments’ mobile app were overwhelmingly positive. The platform was highly secure and protected their clients’ sensitive financial information. The implementation of 2FA provided an extra layer of security and gave clients peace of mind when accessing their accounts.
