Jr. UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We’re looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer to assist in the design and development of digital interfaces that improve user experience across various platforms. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a passion for design, eager to learn, and ready to work alongside a talented team to create cutting-edge, impactful user experiences.

As a Junior UI/UX Designer at Technext Limited, you’ll work closely with senior designers and developers to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces, while learning and growing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to):

• Assist in designing website and website templates.

• Support the senior design team in creating user-centered, visually appealing interfaces.

• Work with existing design systems to create cohesive, well-designed pages and interfaces.
• Create prototypes and wireframes in Figma to demonstrate design concepts..

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and effective implementation of designs.

• Conduct research to understand user behavior and preferences, helping inform design decisions.

• Assist in maintaining and updating design systems, style guides, and design assets.

• Brainstorm content ideas with the team and pursue good ideas based on data, strategy and best practices.

• Stay updated on design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve design skills.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Skills:
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • A solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing processes.
  • Strong visual design sense, including a good understanding of typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience: Proven 6+ months of experience working with Figma Design Systems, gained through internships, freelance work, or personal projects.
